[MUSIC PLAYING] My name is Ryan Rubin. I'm a managing director at a company called Protiviti. We focus on helping organizations manage business risks. And I look after the security and privacy service line within the UK.
What you see in the markets is that many organizations are still not really prepared. There's a lot of confusion out there about whether this problem is a mountain or whether it's a molehill. And organizations are still trying to work through that before they take action. Unfortunately, we only have roughly 18 months to go. And early quarter one 2018, organizations are going to need to demonstrate compliance and be prepared for what is coming.
It was a very valuable event to attend. One of the most important things for me was understanding the partner ecosystem that One Identity has, as well as looking at the roadmap, where One Identity is going. Some of the new areas, such as behavioral analytics, is I think a key cornerstone that should be part of an identity and access management solution and package because I do believe that this is a fundamental way of being able to manage access and detect anomalies. And help organizations pick up potential security threats that are out there.
There was also a lot of discussion around cloud adoption and how organizations can leverage some of the technology that's available to get a better handle on data access in the cloud and, again, some of the solutions that are on the roadmap, I believe will be very useful to organizations looking to tackle their problem.
